Masterball was invented by Dr. Geza Gyovai, a 46 year old Hungarian-born engineer and lawyer now living in Zurich, Switzerland. He spent 6 years and over 1.4 million Swiss francs to design, develop and patent his amazing invention.
Dr. Gyovai says that he spent many evenings hard at work on his pet project while his friends went off to movies, dances and skiing trips without him. His obsession with Masterball even affected his love-life, "Because I didn't have time to get married!" He recounts that his friends thought he was crazy, but he says he has a mind that refuses to let go of a problem until it is solved.
