It's not the picture in the patent that matters, it's the words. If you actually take time to read the whole thing(like I did, but I have no life) you'll notice the important thing is the conical cuts. Take the top layer only off a V-cube 5, and look at the insides. Now, take the top layer off the V-cube 3, and look at it. You should be able to see the similarity. I don't care what everyone else thinks, I know the V-cube 3 isn't a knockoff.
