In this step, we aregoing to orient all six edges and simultaneously place the UL and UR edges to FD and BDpositions (the order is not important). There are 24 sequences accomplishingthis when RU and LU edges are in F layer, part of them having mirror cases. Forsituations where UL and UR edges are in B layer you can either turn the cubearound U-D axis or do M2 or - when you know the sequences well - F-B mirror thesequences given.If you already knowwhere the UL and URedges are placed you need to see only front and top faces in order to recognizethe case.In the follovingpictures incorrectly oriented edge is purple and correctly oriented edge ispink. Both white and yellow (L and R) facelets are colored white.在这一步骤，我们要还原6个棱块的方向，同时要把UL和UR块移到FD和BD的位置上（次序不重要）。下表中是当UL和UR棱块处于F面时的24种情况，部分情况有镜像操作。如果我们在前一步骤把UL和UR棱块放在了B面，那么我们需要把魔方绕着U-D轴转180度，或者做M2，再或者你能够知道下面公式的F-B镜像公式。因为我们已知道UL和UR棱块的确切位置，要识别下列情况，我们只需要观察F和U两个面就够了。下表中，紫色为方向不正确的棱块，粉色为方向正确的棱块，白色表示该小块是L和R面的颜色。
